What could possibly rival sampling a superbly handcrafted cocktail, locally brewed beer, or refreshing rosé plus delicious chef creations at sunset in Waikiki or under the stars in Leeward Oahu? This is what you can look forward to at the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival, the Pacific region's premier epicurean event that celebrates the islands' local bounty and Hawaiians' love for their land and sea. More than 100 internationally renowned master chefs, culinary personalities, and wine and spirits producers will gather for events spanning Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii Island. The Street, A Michael Mina Social House (thestreetsocialhouse.com) is a bustling collection of culinary experiences that showcase different chefs' takes on global street fare. Umamiya Shabu Shabu (umamiyashabu.com) Peter Kim, the owner of the local beloved Liliha Bakery, has opened his ninth eatery combining Japanese, local, and Korean flavors. The shabu shabu concept features a high quality meat selection, a seafood medley, and a fresh vegetable selection paired with a selection of slow simmered broths.
Senia (restaurantsenia.com) This highly anticipated Chinatown eatery, a collaboration between chefs Chris Kajioka and Anthony Rush, features a menu that reflects the melting pot of Hawaii's cultures and Modern American cooking. Leahi Concept Kitchen is a partnership between the Waikiki Parc Hotel and Kapiolani Community College's Culinary Institute of the Pacific. This year long kitchen concept will feature cuisine by renowned chefs from the Culinary Institute's Guslander Distinguished Visiting Global Chef Series and multiple dining concepts. The guest chefs will have their own pop up events with their own menu interpretations. Leahi Kitchen Concept will become the model for the highly anticipated restaurant to open at the Culinary Institute of the Pacific.
Kuhio Beach Grill Restaurant & Bar at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa (waikiki.regency.hyatt.com) Overlooking Waikiki Beach, this Modern American restaurant serves dishes inspired by Hawaii's ocean and farmlands and an inventive whiskey and bourbon program of 50-plus whiskeys, including 30-plus bourbons from small batch distilleries and handcrafted bourbon cocktails. Wine Down Wednesdays are a sommelier-led wine tasting series the first Wednesday of each month.

Head to this North Shore community farm stand for new monthly Farmers & Friends Fridays, a series highlighting Hawaii's farmers and makers of artisanal products. Enjoy a special menu showcasing a featured farmer or product vendor, meet the farmers and/or makers to learn about their work.

Also on the North Shore, family owned Kahuku Farms offers a tour that goes beyond the usual tourist favorites like pineapple and coconut and features their farm grown pomelo, lilikoi, dragon fruit, papaya, and acai berries. Kahuku Farms has spent eight years cultivating acai berry trees, the superfood that originates in South America. After the tour, head to the Farm Café for refreshing healthy acai bowls as well as other delicious menu items.
Manulele Distillers (kohanarum.com)
Rum drinks are synonymous with Hawaii and now you can sample and learn about Oahu made rum. Visit Manulele Distillers, makers of Ko Hana Hawaiian Agricole Rum, small batch handcrafted rum made from sugar cane plants originally brought to Oahu by Polynesian voyagers nearly one thousand years ago. The tour begins with a glass of fresh press cane juice and includes a visit to the observation deck with views of Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, the Waianae Mountains, and one of Oahu's largest aquaponic farms. The Joy of Sake Festival

The Reebok Spartan Race Hawai'i Trifecta Weekend is Hawaii's largest premier Obstacle Course Racing Event.
